The SIOE demonstration against Saudi Arabia. SIOE In Brussels, In remembrance of the 9/11 victims With this gathering we have proved to the world, Belgium and Mayor Thielemans, that SIOE can conduct demonstrations where peaceful ordinary people may respectfully deliver their messages to our politicians. SIOE did exactly that when a petition of 10,000 signatures complaining about Mayor Thielemans's decision to ban the 9/11 demo was passed on to Gerard Batten MEP who will raise the matter of Mayor Thielemans's prohibition in the parliament, in order to secure the right of peaceful people to gather and express their freedom of speech according to the EU-constitution. Mr Batten ensured the petition was handed to Mayor Thielemans's office. SIOE does not wish to be associated with Vlaams Belang who held its own separate demonstration on Schumann Square. Firstly, because we believe they obviously did not respect police instructions and secondly, we consider they vandalised SIOE's efforts by holding their own demonstration, thereby distracting the both media and, more seriously, demonstrators who genuinely only wish to Stop the Islamisation Of Europe. Geert Wilders wants to ban the koran (Eng. subtitles) Partijleider Geert Wilders van de Partij Voor de Vrijheid wil de Koran verbieden. Dat schrijft hij woensdag in een ingezonden brief in De Volkskrant. Volgens Wilders is de Koran een fascistisch boek dat oproept tot geweld. Hij noemt het heilige boek van moslims voor Mein Kampf. Dit laatste boek mag sinds het einde van de tweede wereldoorlog niet meer in Nederland worden verkocht. Wilders meent dat de Koran net als Mein Kampf verboden moet worden. Het gebruik van de Koran in de huiselijke kring en in de moskee moet worden bestraft zegt Wilders in De Volkskrant. Hij neemt het op voor de onlangs mishandelde voorzitter van het comité voor ex moslims Ehsan Jami. De voorzitter had veel eerder beveiligd moeten worden betoogd Wilders.. Volgens het kamerlid is het verbod op de koran een duidelijk signaal aan islamisten die de koran als excuus en inspiratie voor geweld gebruiken. Genoeg is genoeg vindt de PVV voorman Dansk: Partiformand Geert Wilders fra de Partiet For Frihed (PVV - Partij Voor de Vrijheid) vil forbyde koranen. Det skrev han i onsdags (8. august) i et læserbrev til De Volkskrant (landsdækkende hollandsk avis á la Politiken). Ifølge Wilders er koranen en fascistisk bog der opfordrer til vold. Han kalder muslimernes hellige bog for 'den islamiske Mein Kampf'. Sidstnævnte bog må siden slutningen af anden verdenskrig ikke længere sælges i Holland. Wilders mener at koranen lige som Mein Kampf skal forbydes. Brug af koranen i hjemmet og i moskeen skal straffes, siger Wilders i De Volkskrant. Han forsvarer den nylig mishandlede formand for komiteen for forhenværende muslimer Ehsan Jami. Formanden burde have været under beskyttelse længe før, fremfører Wilders. Autonome overfalder VU demonstration / Anarchist assault Anarchists in support for "Ungdomshuset" assaults the Danish liberal party's youth organisation (Venstres Ungdom) with bottle throwing, during a demonstration the liberals held for the closing of the leftwing headquarters!! "Ungdomshuset".. The building is legally own by the Christian organization "House of the father" (Faderhuset). Due to the illegal occupation by the anarchists, it is impossible for the rightful owners to claim their rights for the building.. The demonstration had just come to an end, when the attack suddently began.. Landsformand for Venstres Ungdoms Karsten Lauritzen udtalte: " Vi fik ideen til fakkeloptoget da vi den 15. december læste i Metroxpress at talskvinde "Ditte" fra Ungdomshuset sagde "Vi anerkender ikke fogedrettens, byrettens og landsrettens dom. Retsstaten og demokratiet må vige for de unges behov". Det citat siger alt om sagens kerne. Efter demonstrationen angreb en snes hætteklædte autonome de fredelige demonstranter, der så småt var ved at slukke deres fakler for at forlade rådhuspladsen..
