A Bit of Earth This is a tribute to the beautiful scenery of Harry Potter. No real plot, just something I felt like doing. Though there are hints of plot. The whole flowers and winter scenes at the end are symbolic of what Hermione fears she will lose in the war. She fears the distruction of her beautiful world. Where it list of family members I deliberatly used the people I did because they are so close to Hermione in her heart. I had to use Neville for the "Iris Tall". I can't believe how he has grown! "The flowers grow" near the end fits particularly well to me, with the ballroom scene. I love that lift! Other than that, um.... I'm very happy how this came out. A nice break from my beloved pairing. It's hard to make videos when your pairing is so far of cannon that it needs a map to find it's way back. (AS if it wanted to!) Enjoy! Who Knew In her 7th year Hermione Granger gets invited to a Slytherin ball. The invitation, Lucius says with a teasing smile, is issued to her inner Slytherin, she really should come. "I'll be there waiting, find me." He also tells her that Victor Krum will be waiting to see her again soon. Harry tells her to ignore him, not to even think of going. But she ignores Harry, and goes anyway. She spends a wonderful evening with Lucius and Victor, but is spotted by the press. The next day it's all over the news (seen in flashback), everyone tries to tell her, they were just playing with her. Especially Draco who is furious at the attention she's recieving from his father. Eventually time passes and Hermione doesn't hear from etiher man. She starts to think maybe everyone was right. Than one day Victor shows up with a letter. The two men want her to finish her last year at Hogwarts, than they are coming to "rescue" her. She tries to tell her friends that she's leaving with Victor and Lucius at the end of the year, but ends up in a fight with Harry. Dispite the views of the world, Hermione settles down to wait for her rescuers. NOTES: Sepia moments are memories, and the blurry kiss. Which yes I took from Romeo and Juliet, but hey, I like it. Imagine that Lucius hair got cut after he escaped Azkaban. I know it's not consistant but I hope you still like it. This can pass for HG/LM or VK/HG/LM, though the subtitles are kind of HG/LM centric because Victor was late to the party and missed his cue. Anyway, If it helps, just think of Lucius as being the one in charge anyway. Afterall he is the oldest. What do you guys think of the subtitles telling the story? What If? Driven by the death of his family in the war, Lucius is adopted into the Order fo the Pheonix, where he butts-heads with the resident know-it-all. Over the research project the two are assigned, Hermione tries to convince Lucius to change his opinions on Muggleborns and Halfbloods. It's not an easy process, and frustrated by Lucius inability to change, Hermione gives up and leaves. But it's too late, Lucius is already in love with her. To Prove himself, he plunges headlong in to the final battle and dies protecting what he had tried so hard to believe in.
