Piney wins Sacramento Idol! American Idol Piney wins Sacramento Idol... Hey yall! Okay I auditioned for this on a whim...okay I look a lil tore up..I was up for 2 days hahaha..when I heard about it I was at my best friends house and I heard Fox40 news announcing at 1130pm the night before that there would be auditions at 530am in the morning so my mama (the best) missed work and watched my 2 year old.. I got ready and arrived at Skips Music (Skip is the coolest at 230am and stood in line for 3 and a half hours in the bitter cold It wasnt bad however because I was standing next to the nicest people and we talked to eachother the whole time.. I sang Stevie Wonder "Ribbon in the sky" for the first group of judges which then passed you through to the second round in which you sing for more judges..they then picked 5 finalist and we had to sing again... I sang an original named "everything"..I swear I dont know what it was but I stepped on stage intending to sing another song and a different song came out my mouth (I know sounds crazy but that has never in life happened to me before) it was like God was like nope you gon sing your song hahaha.. I had so much fun today and everyone was so talented...we have a lot of Talent in Sac yall! So now it is time to represent My hometown right so pray for me as I travel to San Francisco July 17th to get a VIP audition with the idol judges ..and if by God's grace I make it Ima need yall to vote...Lets do this Sacramento!
