It Had Started Like Any Other Summer's Day This is a short film I created for Year 12 (last year of high school) English. Not sure how it fit into the 'English' criteria but I wanted to make it anyway. It was inspired by my older brother's love of Film Noir. The film's 'screenplay' was adapted from a short story I had written earlier in the year. The leading role is played ever so reluctantly yet superbly by my younger brother. Enjoy! Arnott's Milk Arrowroots I love biscuits. Expecially Milk Arrowroots. For those who don't know what milk arrowroots are go to your local Australian goods store (because they do exist) and purchase a packet. They're cheap and tasty and have holes in em'. Best served with tea. Some people like them with a slither of margarine between two. And then they smoosh them together so little butter-wormy's come out. Then they lick them and dip it in tea. But I don't like doing that. I like them dry. But dipped in tea sometimes too. They're good for dipping because they only need a second for appropriate tea-absorption. Not like Ginger Nut biscuits. You have to leave them in the tea for a long time. And swirl it around a bit so the tea can permeate the center. But Ginger Nut are tasty and cheap also. But if I have Ginger Nut and no tea I have to use my back teeth to bite them. But not arrowroots. The designers have constructed the perfect buttery crunch for the central incisors.
