DISGRACED Bill Richardson resigns ! | OBAMA SCANDAL | Indictments Expected ! Barack is not yet president, but his White House scandals have started! [JANUARY 4, 2009] : DISGRACED Bill Richardson resigns ! New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson has withdrawn his nomination to be president-elect Barack Obama's commerce secretary amid a grand jury investigation. Obama's transition office said Sunday that Obama has accepted Richardson's withdrawal. ------------------------------------ (CNN) -- New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson is withdrawing his nomination to be commerce secretary, citing the distraction of a federal investigation into ties to a company that has done business with his state. Two Democratic officials told CNN the investigation involves a California company that won municipal bond business in New Mexico after contributing money to various Richardson causes. In a statement Sunday, Richardson said he asked Obama "not to move forward" with his nomination now. "I do so with great sorrow. But a pending investigation of a company that has done business with New Mexico state government promises to extend for several weeks or, perhaps, even months," the statement reads. "Let me say unequivocally that I and my Administration have acted properly in all matters and that this investigation will bear out that fact. But I have concluded that the ongoing investigation also would have forced an untenable delay in the confirmation process. "Given the gravity of the economic situation the nation is facing, I could not in good conscience ask the President-elect and his Administration to delay for one day the important work that needs to be done." Richardson, one of the best-known Hispanics in the Democratic Party, served as energy secretary in the Clinton administration as well as ambassador to the United Nations. The 61-year-old said he will remain governor. Obama released a statement saying that he accepted the withdrawal with "deep regret." http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/01/04/richardson.withdrawal/index.html Tags: bill richardson william hispanic latino crook cabinet barack currupt curruption jail obama new mexico joe resignation withdraws name withdraw disgrace lobbyist lobby disgraceful dishonest prison campaign contribution resign cnn federal grand juy investigation court arrested trial arrest withdrawal sex biden michelle governor sin scandals scandal transition chicago washington president elect hillary clinton commerce secretary department political jury indictment associated press AP story |

GUILT BY PARTICIPATION - Republican OBAMA attack ad Barack Obama has tried to make voters think he barely know Bill Ayers, a confessed and unrepentant terrorist of the 1970s. Its important to be clear on why the connection matters beyond Obamas judgment in choice of associates. Ayers and Obama collaborated in something called the Annenberg Challenge after a $50 million donation from the Annenberg Foundation (along with many millions from other donors) intended to improve Chicagos schools. Ayers founded the Chicago Annenberg Challenge; Obama served as board chairman for four years after 1995 and a board member for two years after that. Ayers was co-chairman of the Chicago School Reform Collaborative, which cooperated in drafting Challenge policy for the first year and served as an adviser for the remaining years of the project. (Post-project evaluation found no evidence that schools had been improved.) In effect, Obamas organization carried out the funding policies set in collaboration with the Ayers group. But what was Ayers up to? As Sol Stern of City Journal noted, to call Ayers an education reformer, as Tom Brokaw did, is like calling Joe Stalin an agricultural reformer. Ayers entire work in education has been an attempt to convert schools into ideological engines indoctrinating students with a far-left agenda. In 2006, he visited Venezuela and told dictator Hugo Chavez, We share the belief that education is the motor force of revolution. As a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ayers has written that teachers must be capable of hope and struggle, outrage and action, teaching for social justice and liberation. Obama complains that Republicans are trying to score cheap political points by bringing up Ayers. Cheap they are not. This one has not been answered: Does Obama believe the schools should advocate a leftist social justice ideology? : The Ayers agenda: By Boston Herald Editorial Staff [ OCTOBER 2008 ] CAREER First, Country SECOND : Guilty! - Republican attack ad ---------------------------------------- Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby Poll: Obama 48%, McCain 44% : Obama's lead declines Democratic Party presidential nominee Barack Obama slipped back into a statistical dead heat with Republican Party nominee John McCain, but still holds the advantage over McCain, the latest Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby likely voter poll shows. In this latest report, McCain gained eight-tenths of a point, while Obama lost one full point. While the worldwide economic system underwent dramatic turmoil last week, the poll shows the presidential race remarkably unchanged overall at the end of the first full week of daily tracking. Through the week, Obama has always held a small lead, as large as 6.1 points (on Saturday) and as little as 1.9 points (last Wednesday). The rolling telephone tracking poll included a sample of 1,206 likely voters collected over the previous three 24-hour periods spanning four calendar days approximately 400 per 24-hour period from Oct. 9-12, 2008. Obama retains a substantial 17-point lead among independent voters, but that edge receded from 21 points yesterday. In terms of securing their political bases, both Obama and McCain are doing well. Among Democrats, Obama wins 86% support, while McCain wins 88% support among Republicans. http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1584 Tags: barack obama michelle bombing 911 sarah palin bombs family democrat chicago acorn voter registration fraud friend bomb tony rezko friends william bill ayers terrorist terrorism college terrorists professor weather john mccain weatherman weathermen advertisement political campaign underground group bombed US Capitol building Washington DC Chicago husband wife Bernadette Dohrn interview tv internet web television |

ACORN : It's an OBAMA scandal ! - John McCain ad Another BARACK OBAMA scandal disclosed! [ OCTOBER 10, 2008 ] WASHINGTON — ACORN, a community-organizing group that has operated for nearly 40 years outside the national spotlight, finds itself a central issue in the presidential campaign. GOP officials and advisers to Sen. John McCain have sought to paint the group — which focuses on low-income housing, voter registration, the minimum wage and other issues — as radical and have accused it of playing a role in the economic crisis and fomenting voter fraud. At the same time, the McCain campaign has sought to tie the group to Sen. Barack Obama. Republican National Committee spokesman Danny Diaz called ACORN a "quasi-criminal group" last week, charging the group was committing fraud during its voter-registration drives. "It's pretty shocking that anyone would say such a thing," said Bertha Lewis, interim chief organizer for National ACORN. Media reports have cited problems in several states, including Washington, in which registration cards submitted by ACORN — the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now — were incomplete or had false or duplicate names or were turned in without a person's knowledge. Much of the political attention has stemmed from a program in Nevada, where ACORN hired 59 inmates to help register voters. The state attorney general halted the program. Nevada authorities last week seized ACORN records after accusing the group of submitting fraudulent registration forms. State officials in North Carolina and county officials in Missouri also are investigating ACORN's registration submissions. ACORN routinely notifies local officials of incomplete or suspicious registration cards, Lewis said. She said local election officials sometimes use those cards to "come back weeks or months later and accuse us of deliberately turning in phony cards." Lewis said "groups threatened by our historic success" have gone after ACORN because of whom the group registers: As many as 70 percent of the new voters are minorities and half are younger than 30. ACORN has conducted a registration drive this fall that has added 1.3 million new voters to the rolls in 18 states, most notably in the presidential-swing states of Ohio (247,335) and Florida (151,812, mostly in Orange, Broward and Miami-Dade counties), but also in targeted congressional races in solidly Republican states like Texas (42,695) and Democratic dominated states like California (39,570). "Out of 13,000 workers, there were inevitably a few who decided they'd pad their hours by duplicating a card and filling out another one or making up a name," said Kevin Whelan, an ACORN spokesman. ACORN claims to be nonpartisan but its political agenda tilts Democratic on affordable and fair housing, health care and education reforms. The McCain campaign also has sought to link ACORN to the financial crisis because the group lobbied for passage of the Community Reinvestment Act in 1977, which required banks to try to increase lending to low-income homebuyers. THE SUBJECT : Barack Obama campaign ad - TRUTH version ! CLICK to watch Barack's 75 SECONDS ! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhueOOw9VZo THE SUBJECT : Barack Obama campaign ad - TRUTH version ! [ OCTOBER 2008 ] -------------------------------------- Tuesday night's presidential debate offers Republican John McCain one of his last best chances to stop Democrat Barack Obama's recent surge in the race and turn it in his favor. The debate's town hall format is McCain's favorite style of campaigning. He asked Obama to appear with him in a series of town hall debates this past summer, but Obama wouldn't take him up on the challenge. That leaves Tuesday night's debate four weeks before Election Day as the only joint town hall that the two are scheduled to hold. The event at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., is being moderated by NBC's Tom Brokaw and will include questions on both foreign and domestic policy raised by the audience and voters participating through the Internet. But the candidates are likely to go after each other on character issues, which McCain's team has forcefully re-injected into the campaign since the weekend. GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin has raised Obama's ties to 1960s-era radical William Ayers and to the Democrat's former pastor, the incendiary Rev. Jeremiah Wright. In New Mexico on Monday, McCain himself asked, "Who is the real Sen. Obama?" Obama retorted in North Carolina that McCain was engaging "in the usual political shenanigans and smear tactics" to distract from economic issues, even as his campaign rolled out a video recounting McCain's involvement in the 1980s Keating Five savings and loan scandal in which the Senate Ethics Committee criticized his "poor judgment." The newest TV ad from the Obama campaign plays up widespread reports that McCain's focus on the Democrat's past associations is an effort to turn the discussion away from the economy. "As Americans lose their jobs, homes and savings, it's time for a president who'll change the economy, not change the subject," says the ad released Tuesday. The town hall is McCain's signature -- one way he built his "Straight Talk" reputation by interacting with voters in the 2000 campaign and then pulled himself out of single digits to win this year's Republican primary. Since he won the nomination, however, the audiences for these events have needed to get tickets and have not been the come-one-come-all events of the primaries. Obama has used the town hall format sporadically throughout his campaign, but not recently. Instead the Democratic nominee has carefully protected his lead with a highly scripted campaign style ever since an off-the-cuff line blew up into a false controversy four weeks ago. Ever since, he's been exclusively sticking to rallies and speeches with a TelePrompTer almost always feeding him prepared text to read. Obama's last town hall was on Sept. 12 -- three days after he went on a riff about how McCain is talking about change when he's really just like President Bush and concluded, "You can put lipstick on a pig." Obama hadn't even mentioned McCain running mate Sarah Palin before using the line, but the McCain campaign argued it was a clear reference to her signature line during her nomination acceptance speech the week before, when she said the only difference between hockey moms like her and a pit bull is lipstick. No matter Obama's intent, the debate dominated a full day of campaign coverage and distracted from Obama's plans to focus the campaign on criticism of McCain. Obama went ahead with two more town halls scheduled for the following three days -- one the next day in Virginia, where he lashed out at McCain and the media for blowing up his comment, and another two days later in New Hampshire, where a voter drew the spotlight when he rose and demanded to know when Obama would bring more of a fighting spirit against his critics. Obama isn't the only one trying to minimize the chance for an unscripted moment at this critical stage of the campaign. McCain still holds his signature town hall meetings but has limited his interaction with the media. McCain's campaign plane is still emblazoned "Straight Talk Express," but the couch installed at the front doesn't carry reporters for freewheeling conversations like in the early days on his primary campaign bus trips. The town hall debate could be McCain's chance to again to come across to voters as feisty, warm, engaging and quick-witted. Those qualities are harder to show in scripted events. But a town hall debate is not the same as a town hall campaign event -- McCain will be sharing the stage with Obama, and his every word will be parsed. : ASSOCIATED PRESS [ OCTOBER 7, 2008 ] Tags: barack obama remix ad advertisement subtitle subtitles president vice john mccain sarah palin joe biden VP michelle sex presidential terrorist bill william ayers friend criminal friends interview tom brokaw nbc abc cbs cspan news cnn msnbc reverend jerimiah wright political debate debates negative attack question townhall truth lies liar lying internet web change associated press AP |

Militant BLACK Obama Youth Group: Let's SCARE the SHIT out of WHITE Grandma? I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO OBAMA ! CLICK to watch Barack's 75 SECONDS ! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhueOOw9VZo A middle school teacher in Missouri was suspended Monday for putting a video on YouTube of his students chanting lines from Barack Obama speeches and wearing military fatigues. The video, called "Obama Youth -- Junior Fraternity Regiment," was posted by a YouTube user named "keepitwildtv" on Oct. 2. The school learned the video was on the Internet and took action against the teacher Monday morning. Joyce McGautha, superintendent of the Urban Community Leadership Academy, a charter school for students in fifth through ninth grades in Kansas City, Mo., said that the video was probably taken last May during the Junior Fraternity's morning meeting at the school. She would not disclose the teacher's name. "At this time because of the legal action that we'll probably have to take against the teacher, I'm not going to give his name," McGautha said. Students at the school have 30-minute group sessions four times a week during which they are supposed to work on reading and writing. Once a week they are allowed to have "activities," McGautha said. There are 12 groups at the public charter school. The Junior Fraternity students studied Obama's economic plan with the teacher, and the superintendent did not know whether the teacher or the students scripted the routine. The group should have also studied John McCain's economic plan, the superintendent said. In the video, eighth- and ninth-graders wearing military camouflage pants and navy t-shirts chant and perform a routine in the style of a step show, a dance popular among African-American fraternities at universities. The students enter the room chanting "Alpha. Omega. Alpha. Omega." Then, one at a time, they state things they were "inspired" to do by Barack Obama, including becoming an architect and a sheriff. At the end of the video, the students make statements about Obama's healthcare plan. "Obama's healthcare plan will be able to provide participants the ability to move from job to job without taking their healthcare coverage," one says. "People are upset that possibly taxpayer money is being used to support one particular candidate," McGautha said, "and now I can understand that. And I didn't condone them. I try very, very hard to remain within the limits of the law. I think this is unfortunate." She said she was aware of the video, and that many of the school's activities are recorded, but that the teacher had been warned in a letter not to put it on the Internet. If he did, she said, he should seek legal counsel. The teacher's fate will be taken up by the charter school's board, she said. "Certain things don't happen in public schools anyway, but there area lot of other ramifications when you take it public," McGautha said. "As far as [the teacher is] concerned, I think he gets what was supposed to come to him. But I don't think the children should be the victims of his stupidity." "Boo Hoo!" cries BARACK: "John & SARAH are calling me NAMES!" - CNN video CLICK to watch 75 SECONDS ! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhueOOw9VZo (CNN) - Sen. Barack Obama on Sunday charged that Sen. John McCain's campaign is launching "Swift boat-style attacks" on him instead of addressing the country's problems. Sen. McCain and his operatives are gambling that they can distract you with smears rather than talk to you about substance. They'd rather try to tear our campaign down than lift this country up," Obama said at an event in Asheville, North Carolina. "That's what you do when you're out of touch, out of ideas, and running out of time," he said. The comments come a day after Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, McCain's running mate, claimed that Obama associated "with terrorists who targeted our own country." The McCain campaign shot back on Sunday, saying its accusations are "true facts," and not "smears." "The last four weeks of this election will be about whether the American people are willing to turn our economy and national security over to Barack Obama, a man with little record, questionable judgment, and ties to radical figures like unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers," McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds said in a statement. "Americans need to ask themselves if they've ever befriended an unrepentant terrorist, or had a convicted felon help them buy their house -- because those aren't smears, those are true facts about Barack Obama." Obama also continued his heightened attack on McCain's health care plan, calling it "radical" and "out of line with our basic values," reiterating criticisms he made Saturday in Virginia. The McCain campaign called Obama's attack on McCain's health plan "cynical and deceitful." "He will say anything to distract the American people away from his basic intention to force millions of Americans to accept government-run health care," the campaign said in a statement. [ OCTOBER 5, 2008 ] -------------------------------------- ENGLEWOOD, Colorado (AP) - Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday accused Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" because of his association with a former 1960s radical, stepping up the campaign's effort to portray Obama as unacceptable to American voters. Palin's reference was to Bill Ayers, one of the founders of the group the Weather Underground. Its members took credit for bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol, during the tumultuous Vietnam War era four decades ago. Obama, who was a child when the group was active, served on a charity board with Ayers several years ago and has denounced his radical views and activities. The Republican campaign, falling behind Obama in polls, plans to make attacks on Obama's character a centerpiece of presidential candidate John McCain's message with a month remaining before Election Day. Palin told a group of donors at a private airport, "Our opponent ... is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country." She also said, "This is not a man who sees America as you see America and as I see America." Palin, Alaska's governor, said that donors on a greeting line had encouraged her and McCain to get tougher on Obama. She said an aide then advised her, "Sarah, the gloves are off, the heels are on, go get to them." The escalated effort to attack Obama's character dovetails with TV ads by outside groups questioning Obama's ties to Ayers, convicted former Obama fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko and Obama's former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Ayers is a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He and Obama live in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood and served together on the board of the Woods Fund, a Chicago-based charity that develops community groups to help the poor. Obama left the board in December 2002. Obama was the first chairman of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a school-reform group of which Ayers was a founder. Ayers also held a meet-the-candidate event at his home for Obama when Obama first ran for office in the mid-1990s. Palin cited a New York Times story published Saturday that detailed Obama's relationship with Ayers. In an interview with CBS News earlier in the week, Palin didn't name any newspapers or magazines that had shaped her view of the world. Summing up its findings, the Times wrote: "A review of records of the schools project and interviews with a dozen people who know both men, suggest that Mr. Obama, 47, has played down his contacts with Mr. Ayers, 63. But the two men do not appear to have been close. Nor has Mr. Obama ever expressed sympathy for the radical views and actions of Mr. Ayers, whom he has called 'somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8.'" Facebook? No, it's BARACK book ! : Republican attack ad - www.BarackBook.com Meet Barack Obama and his criminal friends ! : http://www.BarackBook.com/ Republican National Committee ad friend and friends [ OCTOBER 2008 ] Sarah Palin on Sunday defended her charge against Barack Obama that he is "palling around with terrorists," upping the ante in the latest go-around with the Democratic presidential candidate over his ties to questionable characters. Obama, who has held a statistically significant lead against John McCain in more than a week of Gallup daily tracking polls, said Sunday he won't be distracted by Republicans trying to tear him down. Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, said it is legitimate to raise Obama's association with William Ayers, a co-founder of the Weather Underground, a Vietnam-era domestic terror group. Ayers and Obama are acquainted -- Ayers is a neighbor of Obama's in South Side Chicago and hosted a fundraiser for Obama at the beginning of his political career. But they never palled around, the Obama campaign insists. But Palin said she mischaracterized nothing on Saturday when she referenced a New York Times article discussing Obama's relationship with Ayers. "Our opponent ... is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country," Palin told a group of donors in Englewood, Colo. "This is not a man who sees America like you and I see America," she said. "The comments are about an association that has been known but hasn't been talked about," Palin said Sunday in Long Beach, Calif. "It's important to talk about how Barack Obama kicked off his political career in the guy's living room." Palin's attack coincided with reports by The Washington Post and New York Times that the McCain campaign was going to get personal by raising questions of Obama's credibility and showing his ties to controversial figures like Ayers, convicted businessman Tony Rezko and possibly Obama's former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. In Asheville, N.C., Obama noted his opponent's tactic and likened the McCain campaign's linkage of him to Ayers and others to "Swift boat" attacks of 2004. In remarks to voters, Obama said the personal attacks against him from the GOP camp are "smears without substance. He declined to address his own campaign's latest gambit of calling McCain "erratic" and "dishonest." : ASSOCIATED PRESS Tags: Barack Hussein Obama Hillary Clinton Bill Ayers Tony Rezko RNC reverend Jeremiah Wright racist facebook friends friend woman John Mccain Sarah Palin Joe Biden barack obama vice book com presidential debate terrorist smoke women tape trinity church vagina sex girl smoking crime criminal nude drugs naked nudity ass lesbian pot gay lesbians nudist OJ Simpson porn bill william ayers tv television debates movie political president Democrat girls ad advertisement celebrity campaign web internet |

In an interview with a Colorado radio station, Obama appeared to be engaged already in expectation lowering. Asked about his goals for the first hundred days, he said he would need more time to tackle such big and costly issues as health care reform, global warming and Iraq. [ The Times of London : 10-31-08 ] ---------------------------------------- Barack Obama told a tax-burdened plumber over the weekend that his economic philosophy is to "spread the wealth around" -- a comment that may only draw fire from riled-up John McCain supporters who have taken to calling Obama a "socialist" at the Republican's rallies. Obama made the remark, caught on camera, after fielding some tough questions from the plumber Sunday in Ohio, where the Democratic candidate canvassed neighborhoods and encouraged residents to vote early. "Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn't it?" the plumber asked, complaining that he was being taxed "more and more for fulfilling the American dream." Obama frequently rails against what he calls a Republican concept that tax breaks for the wealthy will somehow "trickle down" to middle-class Americans. However, McCain's aides and supporters argue that Obama wrongly wants to raise taxes on businesses in a time of economic distress. SARAH Palin asks BARACK Obama: "WHY are YOU friends with a TERRORIST?" - Associated Press CLICK to meet the TERRORIST !: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptuohzeHEsE ENGLEWOOD, Colorado (AP) - Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday accused Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" because of his association with a former 1960s radical, stepping up the campaign's effort to portray Obama as unacceptable to American voters. OJ Simpson : GUILTY ! - OJ is cuffed in court CLICK to watch 75 SECONDS ! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhueOOw9VZo LAS VEGAS, Nevada (CNN) -- Former gridiron great O.J. Simpson was found guilty Friday of all 12 counts in the armed robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers at a Las Vegas, Nevada, casino hotel last year. Simpson, 61, and his co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart, 54, were charged with a dozen offenses stemming from the sports memorabilia heist. Stewart was found guilty of the same charges as Simpson. Simpson sat quietly and showed little emotion at the defense table as courtroom clerk Sandra Jeter read the verdicts. After the verdicts were read, deputies immediately handcuffed Simpson and led him out of the courtroom. According to the Associated Press, Carmelita Durio, Simpson's sister, sobbed as he was being escorted out of the courtroom. As spectators left the courtroom, Durio collapsed and paramedics were called, court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer said. Simpson and Stewart could spend the rest of their lives in prison for these convictions. Clark County District Judge Jackie Glass set sentencing for December 5. Simpson arrived at the Clark County Justice Center at around 10:50 p.m. (1:50 a.m. Saturday ET). Simpson told CNN's Ted Rowlands on the phone before the verdict was read that he was "apprehensive." The jury of nine men and three women, none of them African-American, reached its verdict after 13 hours of deliberations Friday. Jurors heard from 22 witnesses over 12 days of testimony. Chief among the witnesses were seven of the nine people inside Room 1203 of the Palace Station Hotel and Casino for the September 13, 2007, confrontation. The evidence included testimony from the two dealers, four co-defendants who cut plea deals and cooperated with prosecutors, and hours of often-profane, crackling, secretly recorded audiotapes. Prosecutors alleged that the men, led by Simpson, burst into the room, flashed a gun and threatened memorabilia dealers Bruce Fromong and Al Beardsley. The men then filled two pillowcases with Simpson trinkets, signed Pete Rose baseballs and Joe Montana lithographs. Simpson's defense attorneys maintained their client was merely trying to retrieve personal photographs and other mementos that belonged to him. Neither Simpson nor Stewart testified during the trial. Instead, their attorneys savaged the motives of the other witnesses. Simpson's lawyer, Yale Galanter, said Simpson was a target of investigators from the very beginning. The case "has taken on a life of its own because of Mr. Simpson's involvement," he added. "Every cooperator, every person who had a gun, every person who had an ulterior motive, every person who signed a book deal, every person who got paid money, the police, the district attorney's office is only interested in one thing: Mr. Simpson," Galanter said. Stewart was characterized by his lawyer, E. Brent Bryson, as the trial's forgotten player. The most compelling evidence for all sides came from the audiotapes. http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/10/04/oj.simpson.verdict/index.html [ OCTOBER 3, 2008 ] Tags: oj simpson convicted verdict las vegas nevada trial guilty read hears listens court crime courtroom jury judge lawyer lawyers law criminal police handcuffs handcuffed handcuff defendant jail prison football hero sports memorabilia theft stealing murderer killer murder Nicole Brown Ronald Ron Goldman NFL cnn |

BREAKING SCANDAL: Sarah Palin VP-debate HOST is EXPOSED as Barack's BITCH ! CLICK to watch 75 SECONDS ! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhueOOw9VZo Uproar grows over Gwen Ifill, debate moderator and book author : One day away from the first, and only debate between the two vice presidential nominees in St Louis, controversy is swirling after news broke that the moderator ,PBSs Gwen Ifill, has a new book coming out- on inauguration day- that at first look, seems favorable to the Democratic presidential nominee. On Amazon.com the publisher offers this description of the book, titled The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama. In THE BREAKTHROUGH, veteran journalist Gwen Ifill surveys the American political landscape, shedding new light on the impact of Barack Obamas stunning presidential campaign and introducing the emerging young African American politicians forging a bold new path to political power. Clearly her books arent going to do as well unless Obama wins, so it looks like she has some investment, literally, in one candidate or the other. And shes supposed to be sitting there as a neutral arbiter during the debate, NPRs Juan Williams, a FOX News contributor said in an article at FoxNews.com. I think the world of Gwen Ifill but I know theres a perception problem. Ifill, is the managing editor of PBS Washington Week, and senior correspondent of The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. Ifill has moderated previous debates before, including the VP debate in 2004, between Dick Cheney, and John Edwards. http://embeds.blogs.foxnews.com/2008/10/01/vp-moderator-creates-controversy-with-book-on-age-of-obama/ --------------------------------------- As if enough delicious edginess already didn't surround Thursday's Sarah Palin/Joe Biden debate, conservative consternation is rising over concerns that moderator Gwen Ifill brings an inherent self-interest favoring the Democratic ticket to the table. News reports about a broken ankle suffered by the PBS newswoman served to spotlight a political book she writing that's due to publish on inauguration day. Its title: "The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama." The Amazon.com blurb touting the book says Ifill "surveys the American political landscape, shedding new light on the impact of Barack Obamas stunning presidential campaign and introducing the emerging young African American politicians forging a bold new path to political power." Presumably, an Obama victory in November would improve the book's marketability. By the same token, as can be attested by scores of D.C.-based journalists who have put their reporting and observations into book form, it's the rare political tome that even comes close to best-selling status. Those raising questions about Ifill's objectivity include well-known conservative blogger Michelle Malkin. In a Tuesday night posting that includes her column on the matter, she relates that "tons of readers" have recommended that Palin "open her debate remarks by congratulating Ifill on her book and asking her to tell everyone the title." Now that would get the proceedings off to a roaring start. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/ ---------------------------------------- WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Controversy swirled over vice presidential debate moderator Gwen Ifill one day before the face-off between Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden, after new scrutiny was drawn to her upcoming book featuring Barack Obama. In stories published Wednesday on NationalReview.com and WorldNetDaily's Web site, conservative commentators noted that "Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama" -- first announced several months ago -- is slated to be released around the inauguration of the next president in January 2009. "...as if we needed any further evidence of a jaw-dropping double standard, we have to contemplate the sheer impossibility that someone who wrote a positive biography of [John] McCain being chosen to moderate a debate," wrote National Review.com's Jim Geraghty on Wednesday. The book, published by Doubleday, has not yet been released to critics or the public. In the book, Ifill takes a look at the black political movement's beginnings during the Civil Rights movement that gave way "to a generation of men and women who are the direct beneficiaries of the struggles of the 1960s," according to Amazon.com. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/01/gwen.ifill/?iref=hpmostpop [ OCTOBER 1, 2008 ] Tags: Gwen Ifill sarah palin joe biden john mccain debate debates barack obama michelle oprah winfrey girlfriend sexual love in the tank sex bitch questioner saint louis st vice president PBS host moderator white black racist age of book controversy governor senator television tv radio abc nbc cbs cnn cspan msnbc fox news channel |

Obama Kids Music Video : Cute or Creepy ? CLICK to watch 75 SECONDS ! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhueOOw9VZo A YouTube video circulating on the Internet features 22 children aged 5 - 12 singing original songs to contribute to the Obama campaign. According to the Web site for the group Sing for Change these non-voting children believe that their very best contribution to the Obama campaign is to sing. Now its your turn. Watch the video here and decide. Is it cute or creepy? http://foxforum.blogs.foxnews.com/2008/09/30/youdecide_0930/ Obama Kids Sing ! Sing for Change Obama Sing for Change chronicles a recent Sunday afternoon, when 22 children, ages 5-12, gathered to sing original songs in the belief that their singing would lift up our communities for the coming election. Light, hope, courage and love shine through these nonvoting children who believe that their very best contribution to the Obama campaign is to sing. Sing for Change was a confluence of hard work, good will, and shared vision. Inspired by ideas raised at a grassroots Obama fundraiser, a music teacher, Kathy Sawada, and the children composed and rehearsed the songs in less than two weeks. Several musicians heard of the effort and volunteered to accompany the children. Parents and older siblings designed and provided the T-Shirts and the banner. There's a first for everything, but rarely do so many firsts come together at once: for the children and their parents, this is their first performance, first video, first banner, and first involvement with grassroots work on a presidential campaign. As Sunday approached, a neighbor volunteered a home. Production wizards got wind of the project and offered their help in recording it. The likes of Jeff Zucker, Holly Schiffer, Peter Rosenfeld, Darin Moran, Jean Martin, Andy Blumenthal, and Nick Phoenix rearranged schedules to participate. Holly Schiffer was able to get three High Definition cameras (Panasonic HVX250's), and an AVID editing facility. When Jeff Zucker went to pick up the camera package, Ted Schilowitz happened to be there and offered a RED camera set up on a Steadi Cam. What we accomplished in a few hours on a Sunday afternoon embodies the nature of the Obama campaign: its grassroots inspiration, its inclusiveness, its community building. People pitched in quickly for a cause that resonated with them. There were not many conditions: "Think this is a good idea? Want to help? Great. Sunday at 12:00." At the heart of the project were 22 children and their music. The willingness of all involved to come together for them was a testament to our hope, unity, courage, joy and belief in the future represented by these children. We are offering the video to everyone, the Obama campaign and all media with high hopes that we can all join together to Sing for Change.
