Air Station San Francisco Departs for Hurricane Gustav SAN FRANCISCO (August 31, 2008) A flight crew from Air Station San Francisco deployed this morning to the gulf region in preparation to support operations related to Hurricane Gustav. The crew of four is expected in the region by Tuesday. Three other crews from the Air Station, in addition to crews from Air Stations Humboldt Bay, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Sacramento, are also on standby to deploy. Coast Guard and FEMA Fly to Gulf Region OAKLAND, Calif., (September 1, 2008) A flight crew from Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento departed Oakland International Airport this morning to transport approximately 40 FEMA representatives to the Gulf region.
