Rammstein - Reise Reise ACHTUNG! 7-23-08: To all of you ignorant people saying Rammstein aren't Nazi's......I am well informed of that. So no shit. As a group it seems they support Socialism based on their interviews and due to songs such as Links 2-3-4. Go watch the Beta version of "Stripped" and see how the original Stripped music video contained Hitler, Goring and Hess. They re-editted it to rid of the Nazi symbols and Hitler and posse. The video material in public released "Stripped" still contains footage from the 1936 Summer Olympics aka the Nazi Olympics. (Which was filmed as "Olympia" by Leni Riefenstahl)Watch the video and then come back and tell me how offensive it is to use simply public domain footage of history from Nazi Germany to awesome German music such as Rammstein. I used Rammstein with this video because of the force behind the song and the force in which Hitler dictates his speech to the youth. If you don't like it, you are not forced to watch it. The song Reise, Reise symbolizes a journey or a trip. The word "Reise" in German means "Journey/Travel/Arise". In other words...there is more than one strict definiton. The video is from "Triumph of the Will" from day three during a Hitler youth rally. Why this video is ironic and iconic is because it was foreshadowing the inevitable battle these future youth would be fighting. Hense a journey or adventure. I personally am not a neo-nazi, nor a support of the Nazi Germany era. I do find though, that the Nazi part was extremely impressive and an awesome sight. People who laugh at the Germans during this time period have never experienced serious national hardship themselves.
