Bang and Olufsen Master 507K Radio of 1952 Part 1 Very rare and wonderful condition B&O 507K valve radio of 1952. One owner since new, kept in the same house in Harpenden until July 2008. This made in Denmark radio has been restored by T.Jarman to a very high standard and required the replacement of most capacitors. This set has complex feedback circuits for the bass and treble controls. Separate tweeter and woofer made by B&O. The dial is hinged and a mercury switch turns on the lamp. Using only 4 valves with very high specification coils the set has Multiple short wave bands, long and medium and works very well indeed. The heavy flywheel tuning with very positive 'no backlash' accuracy begs for nightime shortwave scanning. This very expensive when new set even has its original 2 pin Danish power plug. An in-line adaptor socket is used for UK sockets. The set's varnish has not been touched in at all and is original. A very rare find in anyone's book... The Invaders - Valley of the Shadow Pt2 The nasty alien gets his just deserts, in full view of the towns public, how is this going to be covered up? Features the longest burn up of the entire series. Joe Moross makes for a sinister looking alien. Probably the best episode of the Invaders that was produced. Tags: The Invaders Roy Thinnes Valley of the Shadow |

Veteran Premier Motorcycle 1909 running Lovely rare Premier Motorcycle made in Coventry England in 1909. Beautifully restored, it is owned and run at many events by Brian Kingsley. Here it was shown at Lyne Fete near Chertsey on 21st June 2008. It has belt drive with no clutch so traffic lights, stop junctions and heavy traffic are a real pain as the bike has to be pedal started every time he stops. At Brian's age its not good. 250cc side valve White & Pope engine. Tags: Premier veteran Motorcycle starting belt drive 1909 |
