"The Outsiders" Slideshow- "What About Now" Daughtry Wow, what can I say? I love the book/movie, "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton. I had to read it for Lit. Class, and at first I wasn't too excited about reading it...but after the first few pages I just couldn't put the book down! Then after I finished the book, I watch the movie, and it was awesome!!! I hope you all like this slideshow! If you haven't read the book, please read it! It is so awesome, you won't regret it!! Synopsis: According to Ponyboy, there are two kinds of people in the world: greasers and socs. A soc (short for "social", pronounced "soash") has money, can get away with just about anything, and has an attitude longer than a limousine. A greaser, on the other hand, always lives on the outside and needs to watch his back. Ponyboy is a greaser, and he's always been proud of it, even willing to rumble against a gang of socs for the sake of his fellow greasers--until one terrible night when his friend Johnny kills a soc. The murder gets under Ponyboy's skin, causing his world to crumble and teaching him that pain feels the same whether a soc or a greaser. I fought to get loose, and almost did for a second; then they tightened up on me and slugged me a couple of times. So I lay still, swearing at them between gasps. A blade was held against my throat. Abby barking at the TV I was watching T.V. in my room, and Abby came in and started barking at the T.V. I wanted to film it, so I pulled out my Macbook, and started to film her, she has such a high-pitched bark, it hurts my ears if I'm right next to her when she does bark. THE HANGMAN!!!!!! I SWEAR THIS IS ONE OF THE COOLEST RIDES I HAVE EVER RIDDEN ON! Thanks, Dad for filming while my brother and I rode, The Hangman. it is located at a theme park called, "Wild Adventures" in Valdosta Georgia. It is so cool, it does like a figure 8 upside down! If you ever go to Wild Adventures, you HAVE to ride this ride! I hate our camera! It has such bad quality, well we might be getting a camcorder soon. DOLPHINS, yes dolphins, AT ST. GEORGE ISLAND!!! My family and I were, on a boat trip in the bay at SGI and we spotted some dolphins, we drove the boat over to where they were, (lifted the crop, or the boat motor out of the water) and watched them! They were so beautiful, I had never been upclose to wild dolphins before, it was a wonderful moment! People Caught A Shark at St. George Island We were out on a walk at SGI, it was evening hours, and the tide was low, so we decided to walk out to a sandbar (we usually never do that because of sharks, but that day the sandbar was very close to shore, so we walked out there) and right when we got back from the sandbar two men reeled in a medium-sized shark, and what was surprising was that we were just out there where the men had caught the shark!
