American Pie 2: Redemption - Horror Trailer Re-Cut On this day (06/06/06), I've finally decided release the sequel trailer to American Pie: The Horror. If you haven't seen the previous one, go watch that first. This new trailer has been done as a dual parody of 'An American Haunting' and 'The Omen'. Despite the popularity of the last trailer, I wasn't too happy with some of the CGI work. Some shots were good, some weren't, so I've attempted to create a re-cut which has better quality effects and overall production standards. Awesome CGI Effects Sequence From Blade 2 This has got to be one of the most amazingly well-choreographed shots in film history! I love this whole sequence, and you can't even tell its a computer generated Wesley Snipes. The way the camera follows him out of the window and down into the street is just pure genius! The real Wesley Snipes takes over the CGI one, a split second before he lands. Also, the vampire burn effect at the end is just astounding! BrokeBLADE Mountain Trailer - Re-Cut Despite the abundance of Brokeback Mountain parody trailers out there, I still decided to go ahead and mash up Blade I and Blade II, to make it look like a romantic epic. This is my fastest re-cut yet (less than 4 days!) which is a new record for me, but having said that, the digital enhancements were kept to a minimum with this one, as they weren't really needed (besides the screen replacement shot). In my personal opinion, I think its a little bit more creative than the American Pie horror re-cut I did last month. As usual, your honest opinions and comments are welcome.
