He and eminent Tabla player Ustad Jakir Hussain were performing duet concert at that time. Shri Ramakishanji was one of the best Nagara player in Rajasthan and belongs to Nagarchi family from Pushkar, Ajmer. Mostly he accompanied Nagara playing in traditional folkdrama performances of Kuchamani Khyal with late Shri Ugamraj Khiladi group. Rajasthani folk culture-Dhinga Gavar After Holi,Dhinga gavar or Bentmaar Mela is celeberated by Pushkarna Brahmin women in Jodhpur. 16 days they worship "Gavar" at their home and final day's night, womenfolk of all age actively participate with fancy costumes and makeups in Bentmaar Mela. Women walks in groups to pay their visit to Gavar idol in the streets of inner citywalls. Menfolk warned to not come across to their walks; if he comes, they beat him by canes.
