LIPO Fire warning 3 big Lipos and 4 chargers went up in flames while left unattended. Luckily they were charging in a metal tray and were in the garage.....They were all proper balance chargers with correct PSUs so I have learned a valuable lesson. Doodlebug clone flown to 12,000 feet above LongMynd Shropshire England Saturday 27th of september.2008. Inspired by Patrick Laverty and his new unofficial world record of 15000 ft height gain on a foot launched powered hangglider Wayno and myself again braved the cold and noise of a Radne Racket powered foot launched hangglider( with no silencer on Waynos flight) I got 11500 before all 8 litres of fuel ran out.Wayno tried next and got his personal best of 10200 above take off just east of the Longmynd.The week before I got 11640 above the take off field which itself was at 500ft above sea level so yes I might have broken 12grand ASL on standard Radne powered FLPHG with a Discovery 195 wing. Wesley T surf Demo Mike Hoppett My new Wesley T-surf arrived last week Bargain at £53 delivered.I am well chuffed with Quality and sound(Replaced light strings with Daddarios and set up Guitar to my stylie).I have the vintage fenders to compare with and guess what? This is just as well made...from Korea I think? please correct me if otherwise.......Just had Email from Wesley Guitars...These are made in china and assembled/set up here in the UK. Walkera 36 Hover Training powered by car battery Standard Lipo ballooned so being super keen with a new toy I wired it up to a big old car battery and practiced the hover on a windy day in the turbulent back garden. Continuous use then burnt out the standard brushed motor altho it was sounding rough already.Good practice and most people throw the brushed motor away anyhow.
