Priscilla - It's Christmas Time Priscilla Buchele is a 16-year-old girl from Apeldoorn and a 4th grader in the VWO (a pre-scientific school). She has a true passion for singing, dancing and acting and is convinced this will one day turn this into a career. She started dancing at dance studio Wensink when she was just 4 years old. First in kidsswing, to develop her rhythm, and after that she started to Streetdance, landing herself a place in the top-selection group in no time. After 8 years of intensive training she got accepted in the Stichting Theaterstudio Apeldoorn; she made it to Showgroup 1. She is in a program now, with private singing lessons for 2 years, giving her access to the best techniques to develop her talent, plus other singing and dancing classes a few hours a week. She loves to sing which she proved by recording 3 demo CDs already! The second demo she recorded was with BlinQ, a TV show. After she sang with Sita in Because We Care, she was on Shownieuws and on Kids Unlimited. This year, Priscilla auditioned for a role in the musical Annie, by VV Entertainment. More than 2000 girls auditioned in 3 rounds. Even though the jury was convinced of her many talents as a dancer, actress and singer ? making it to the last round -, they didn?t think the part fit her person. Hennie Huisman did make her promise that this small disappointment wouldn?t stop her ambition. Of course it didn?t, and she now stars in the musicals Moulin Rouge and Oebele, co-starring Joris Lutz. US - Schijt aan de buren After a gig in their hometown in 2001, Iwan and Jeroen get together with 2 other MCs, form a rap crew called In Balans ('Balanced') and produce their own single: Wij Zijn ('We Are'). A year or so down the road they find their musical goals differ too much from the other 2 MCs; Iwan and Jeroen decide to go their own way, naming themselves US. During a performance in Stap-o-theek Fox, the US-potential is unveiled by TMF VJ Jeroen Post and two weeks later they are his special guest in TMF Play. As their live show is best described as energetic, surprising, dynamic and well-organised chaos, TMF contracts them to roam the country with TMF On Tour. In 2005 US releases their first single, Spring Op ('Jump Up'). The video was very popular on TMF, MTV, The Box and Nickelodeon. After this, US were special guests in TMF Play and Jetix The Max; they were also asked to organise a special tour throughout Holland for the magazine Break Out. To their great joy, both enrolled and were accepted at the HBO-direction producer/entertainment at the Academy of Pop Culture. Iwan and Jeroen were also approached by the tv-show Urbanizm (Oog tv Groningen); they are the hosts of this monthly Urban Lifestyle program now.
