| Rush Kappa Alpha Order at MTSU--Fall 2008 The Kappa Alpha Order is Middle Tennessee State University's original fraternal organization. Since 1969, KA has set the standard for gentlemanly conduct, brotherhood, and campus involvement. We derive our beliefs from our spiritual founder Robert E. Lee, and our timeless heritage from the knights of old. The Kappa Alpha Order takes young men working for their education and assists them in their lifelong pursuit of excellence. We wear our letters proudly and are widely recognized as gentlemen, christians, and supporters of the community. KA offers countless opportunities in various fields of study, including support from our prestigious alumni association through study groups and internships. From top to bottom, we are a well structured organization whose primary goal is to further our members quest for higher education and moral developement. But what kind of strategy is all work and no play? Our parties and social events are always creative and lead to unforgettable nights. Our brotherhood is a bond unlike any other. A man does not only have best friends in KA, but also brothers that support each other throughout all of life's endeavors. Once a Kappa Alpha, always a Kappa Alpha. "You can have anything you want - if you want it badly enough. You can be anything you want to be, have anything you desire, accomplish anything you set out to accomplish - if you will hold to that desire with singleness of purpose." -Robert E.
