| Mommy and Daddy God Just a thought I had the other night. But it seems a universal trait of almost all religious faiths that have prayer is the use of raising your hands. I see this as an intrinsically submissive and infantile position which demonstrates how connected the idea of wanting to have a mommy and daddy is with having your skymommy or skydaddy up in heaven.
