| Lower Ninth Ward Some folks and I returning from a gut with Common Ground, in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans. I had wanted to spend time taking lots of pictures but there wasn't time for that this day - so I took lots of pictures, in video format. Speaking of format, I did sacrifice some quality for size; I'm still learning how to do these things, so I hope this is watchable. In any event, it ought to get the point across; that over a year later (this was taken October 17, 2006), the Lower Ninth is still struggling. The situation in New Orleans is... ridiculous, as in I'm flummoxed? But the people of New Orleans are fantastic, and deserve all the help and awareness they can get.
