| Kuchipudi Art Centre OSAAT Naatya-Raaga 2008 Dance Competition Junior Classical category Team # 7 presents "Dashavataram" in Raagam: Mohana, Taalam : Misra gathi. Lord Vishnu incarnates onto this world to re establish Dharma, law and order and to protect the Sadhus or saints and to destroy the evil elements of the society whenever Dharma, or the situation of law and order, is endangered in this world. The ten avatars of Lord Vishnu follow the theory of evolution as understood by us today - fish, tortoise, boar, half man-half lion, a dwarf, an angry man unable to control his anger, the ideal human being as in Rama avataram, friend, philosopher and guide as in Buddha avataram.
