| Yellow fever and howler botfly reported by Dr. Pastor Moreno Dr. Pastor Moreno is a veterinary of the Agropecuary Development Ministery of Panama, he reported here 20 howler monkeys from Azuero that die in Arenas de Quebro. Based on his experience and observations, his diagnosis was Forest Yellow fever. He also report for the first time the presence of botfly in Azuero howlers that later was identified by our group as Alouattamyia baeri, a botfly that parasite only howler monkeys.
